![]() As with any villager in the game, she has her own catchphrase that she ends her dialogue with. Look how cute and excitable Cookie’s personality is!Ĭookie is no different, and many of her dialogue options relate to her favorite movies or songs. I chose that because when I hear her name, I think of chocolate chip cookies, and ‘choccy’ sounds cuter than ‘chocolate.’ When a villager is on your island long enough, they will eventually ask your opinion on their catchphrase, so if you weren’t keen on ‘arfer’ then you’d be able to change it to something you preferred. I think it’s fine, but not particularly memorable or fun, so I changed it to ‘choccy’ when given the opportunity. Hers is ‘arfer,’ presumably after the sound that a dog makes (arf). It gives them so much character and… Well… Pep! They tend to talk about their dream of being a celebrity and will refer to ‘pop culture’ (the Animal Crossing world has its own lore going that doesn’t match ours).Ĭookie is no different, and many of her dialogue options relate to her favorite movies or songs. There are eight personalities in total, but Peppy is definitely my favorite. As one of the many dog villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Cookie already has the likeability factor in her favor as most people love dogs.Ĭookie has the Peppy personality, which means she’s obsessed with fame and glamor. Her arms and legs are also pink, although the paws are white. Her ears are light pink as her face at the top and gradient into a slightly more vibrant shade at the bottom. The lower half of her face is white, which narrows upwards into a stripe down the middle of her face, dividing the upper half. Her bright pink skin stands out from a mile away, and she has large, friendly eyes that are sweet and inviting. First game: Animal Crossing (the very first release of the title)Įven at first glance, you can tell that Cookie is a truly special villager. If and when there’s a new Animal Crossing title in the future, I would definitely want to have Cookie in my game because I can’t imagine playing without her. She’s the type of villager who you absolutely fall in love with, and you never want to see her go. Along with Ketchup and Merengue, she’s in my top 3 villagers of all time. I would never even consider letting her leave. On the other hand, Cookie is 100% one of my Dreamies. I had to let Benedict leave so Ketchup could move in (no regrets, I love my girl Ketchup), and Celia is still on my island, really because of sentimental value. Neither of them grabbed me the way that Cookie did. The other two villagers I found at the start were Benedict and Celia. Cookie was one of the first three villagers I found on Mystery Islands at the start of the game.
